I am writing to endorse Sheriff Phil Hodapp for re-election because Phil has the right qualifications to continue to lead our Sheriff’s Department in the 21st century. Phil is a veteran leader who, not only has attained the experience of being the Sheriff, has also extensive experience as a BCA supervisor. In these roles, he has been in charge of deputies and agents working some of the most heinous crimes that have occurred in our area. Phil is prepared to continue to bring his knowledge of cutting edge law enforcement technology and his talents as a leader and communicator to our Sheriff’s Department, thus continuing the effort to improve the delivery of law enforcement services to our community. Phil’s plan to address the problems facing our community has improved our quality of life. If re-elected, he will continue to advance and improve the standards of the department, he will continue to be a pro-active sheriff who will work to recognize and respond to threats to our quality of life before they become more difficult, and he will be strive to continue to be accountable to us, the citizens. He will make himself available to all of us, listen to our concerns, and help to solve our problems. I know Sheriff Phil Hodapp as a good family man and a great professional. This is why I support Phil in his re-election as our Beltrami County Sheriff.
